The Animation Studio at the VCA Film and Television School has recently undergone a smart and sensitive upgrade—designed to meet the evolving needs of its vibrant student community.
The project introduces new seminar rooms (IT labs) and a fully accessible DDA-compliant kitchen, enhancing both functionality and inclusivity. The design respects the character of the original space while introducing a rich colour palette and a gently curved floor plan that improves circulation and accessibility.
More than just a renovation, this upgrade reflects a deeper commitment to creating a collaborative, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for all.
“We wanted the space to feel intuitive and inclusive—where students can move freely, collaborate easily, and feel inspired every day,” said Steve Hatzellis, Director at HATZ.
