Graduate of Architecture – Advanced Revit
At HATZ, we’re Designing a Future Worth Living In™: architecture that shapes how people learn, heal and live. We’re seeking a Master of Architecture graduate with advanced Revit skills and a passion for design to join our South Yarra studio with a clear pathway to ARBV registration.
Our work is concentrated where design quality genuinely changes outcomes. We specialise in education, health and bespoke residential. Much of our work is adaptive reuse: honouring what a building has been while unlocking what it can become. That means complex existing fabric, real technical rigour and precise documentation.
That’s where you come in: using Revit to model complex existing buildings accurately and turning regulatory constraints into design solutions rather than compromises. At HATZ, precise documentation is more than technical skill; it’s how we deliver client success.
What matters to us
Our values are non-negotiable, and they’ll shape how you work here:
- Client Success: Precise documentation, with low error rates and minimal construction variations, is how we deliver client success and build lasting trust. Your Revit skills are central to this.
- Design Excellence: Architecture that is ambitious, practical and beautifully resolved. We never accept “good enough”.
- Inspired People: We strengthen people so they become confident architectural leaders.
What you’ll bring
- A genuine eye for design resolution, not just modelling.
- A Master of Architecture (or equivalent accredited qualification), essential.
- 3+ years’ advanced Revit / BIM, with hands-on experience in building custom parametric families; setting up and maintaining project templates, view standards and model health; worksharing in central models; coordinating consultant models and resolving clashes; phasing existing, demolition and new work; and producing coordinated, construction-issue documentation and schedules.
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD, rendering, Adobe Creative Cloud and AI tools for design exploration, visualisation and documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of Victorian and Australian regulatory requirements, with the ability to resolve them through design, not just check them off.
- The ambition to grow into an architectural leader and the humility to keep learning.
- A portfolio demonstrating design sensibility alongside technical documentation ability.
- Full Australian working rights.
What we offer
- Involvement across the full design process from concept to completion, presenting to clients and defending your design decisions.
- Specialist work in sectors where design quality determines outcomes: tertiary education, health and bespoke residential.
- Technically rich adaptive reuse, heritage and accessibility projects that build genuine specialist expertise.
- We grow leaders, not just architects: a Senior Architect mentor from day one and a supported pathway to ARBV registration.
- $85,000–$100,000 plus super, commensurate with experience.
If you have the Revit depth, regulatory knowledge and mindset to grow into an architectural leader, we’d love to meet you.
