April 2016 | Hatz has just completed a new information kiosk for the University of Melbourne Law Library. This Help Desk allows library staff to directly engage with students. No longer are staff behind counters and books hidden in discrete shelves. The high use Reserve Collection books are treated as fine wines in glass cabinets, readily available for student consumption. The staff and located front and centre, allowing for greater involvement with student learning.
